Cow Patty-O (Frisbee Central) is located at the McGirr Sportsfield Complex at the north end of Nanaimo.

From South Island and Duke Point
Ferry Terminal :
- Stay on the Nanaimo Parkway (Exit
Highway 19 to Parksville/Port Hardy
- At north end of Nanaimo, turn right on the Aulds Road exit (close to Staples/Home Depot)
- Cross the old highway at the second set of lights. Aulds Road becomes Hammond Bay Road
- Go straight through the first set of lights (Uplands) and continue just past Dover Bay Secondary School.
- Turn left on McGirr Road
- Park in the school parking lot on your left
- Remove bag from car, put on cleats,
play hard, go home.
From Departure Bay (Nanaimo) Ferry terminal
- Get off the ferry
- Make a hard right at the lights
(19A, Parksville exit)
- Go up the hill and get onto the old
highway (19A)
- Drive north to the Aulds
Road/Hammond Bay Road intersection and turn right. There should be a Shell
Gas station on the right.
- Follow directions along Hammond Bay
Road as above.
FROM EDMONTON
- Get in pick-up truck.
- Drive west on Highway 16 past such
highlights as Niton Junction and the Obed Summit
- Stop in Jasper and gas up.
- Cross BC border, watch price of gas
go up by 20 cents. Don't forget to check cowboy boots, straw hat and overalls
at border
- Turn south on Highway 5 and drive to
Kamloops. Watch for testy RCMP in Valemount.
- Pass Kamloops and climb large hill
onto Coquihalla Highway
- Stop at toll booth and pay $10. No
this isn't included in your tournament fees.
- Just past Merrit, shift into Neutral
and cruise into Hope and enter Highway 1.
- Pass Chilliwack and begin watching
for signs for Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
- Take Duke Point ferry, not ferry to
Victoria or Gulf Islands.
- Cross very big lake.
- Follow directions above to Cow
Patty-O.
FROM SEATTLE/PORTLAND/BELLINGHAM
- Drive up I-5
- Approach international border in
Washington with caution after stashing handguns in ditch
- Smile cheerfully at overpaid border
guard.
- Cross border, give up numerous
rights and freedoms
- Remove rest of team from trunk
- Drive north on Highway 99 and look
for signs to Tsawwassen ferry terminal.
- Follow signs, no they are not in
French.
- Get on the Duke Point (Nanaimo)
ferry.
- Troll for salmon behind ferry
- Follow directions to Cow Patty-O as
presented above.

On Friday Night (8pm start) come join the organizing committee for some carbo loading at the Foundry
From the Departure Bay
Ferry, go straight through the first light to the end of Stewart. At the T Intersection turn left (or south to Victoria)
A the next stop light (Comox) turn left again. The Foundry is about 25 m on the right side of the street.
Park around back.
From South Island and Duke Point Ferry
Stay on Highway 19A (Nanaimo, Departure Bay Ferry route) and go through town.
On the corner of Comox Street, turn right. There should be an arena, Howard Johnston and a muffler shop on the corners.
The Foundry is about 50 m on your right.
Saturday April 12th - Cavallotti Lodge (2060 East Wellington Rd)
This year's shaker starts around 7:00-7:30, whenever you can get yourselve cleaned up real good, smelling faintly better and ready to shake your booty.John Stroppa and Company will be spinning tunes all night.......
Depending on where you eat supper.....munchies and snacks will be provided, sweet.
From the north end of town, from the Island Highway 19A (we always return to the Island Highway), head south until the Bowen Road lights - across from the now relocated WalMart.
Turn Right at the lights onto Bowen Road.
Snake your way down Bowen till you see the Chevron, turn right onto East Wellington Road.
The hall is after the overpass bridge on the right, look up the hill!! Stop.
From the south end of town
Drive north on the old Island Highway (19A).
Turn left at the lights at Comox Road - across from Mr. Lube (hee hee), past Harbour park Mall
Typical of Nanaimo streets, Comox Road turns into Bowen Road. Just continue up Bowen Road until you see the Chevron on the left.
Make a left here onto East Wellington Road
The hall is after the overpass bridge on the right, look up the hill!! Stop.
